Philosophy

Our Learning Commons is an integral and essential component of the instructional program of our school. Our Learning Commons provides intellectual, physical access, information, literature and technical resources. By promoting the competency and independance of all learners in the use of information technology.  The program create learning environment which encourage lifelong learning in an ever changing society to meet the needs of all learners.

 

 

Focus

With our strong focus on Language acquisition, our Learning Commons offers a solid school reading program based on those five pillars:

1. Fun and engaging games
2. Teachers, family and students engagement
3. Drama productions  (include: shadow play, puppettery, Readers Theatre, podcast, video production, ...)
4. Use of technology to enhance learning
5. From classroom to public productions
